Growth Analyst
The Growth Analyst role at Headout is a foundational position within the data team, where you'll collaborate closely with senior analysts and leadership to develop reports, dashboards, and automations that drive decision-making across the company. This role offers exposure to various aspects of the business, including growth and marketing analytics, product analytics, and operations, allowing you to work on meaningful problems that impact the company's success.
In this position, you'll be responsible for analyzing complex data sets to understand marketplace dynamics, identify key performance metrics, and uncover levers that drive business outcomes. Your day-to-day work will involve building and maintaining analytical tools, conducting in-depth analyses, and providing actionable insights to support strategic initiatives. You'll have the opportunity to ship real work within your first week and take ownership of significant workstreams within your first few months.
The ideal candidate has 1 to 3 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data science roles. Strong proficiency in SQL is essential, including the ability to write complex joins, window functions, and common table expressions. Working knowledge of Python for data manipulation and analysis is also required. Experience with business intelligence tools such as Metabase, Looker, Tableau, or Power BI is necessary. Exposure to tools like dbt, Airflow, or similar, as well as a basic understanding of data warehousing concepts, is advantageous. Experience in marketplace, e-commerce, or consumer technology sectors is a plus.
