German Speaking SDR
OpenTable is seeking a German-speaking Sales Development Representative to join our Restaurant Sales & Services team in London. This team is dedicated to enhancing restaurants' revenue potential through our industry-leading front-of-house management and online reservation technology. As part of OpenTable, a company with over 25 years of experience and a network of more than 60,000 restaurant partners, you'll contribute to our mission of helping restaurants thrive and diners discover the perfect dining experiences.
In this role, you will be responsible for generating sales leads by assisting with phone-based prospecting to schedule appointments for Account Executives in your region. You'll implement lead generation programs developed by the Restaurant Marketing team and craft targeted sales messages to restaurant prospects through traditional mailings and email marketing. Additionally, you'll provide general sales support, ensuring successful lead hand-offs to Account Executives and responding to requests for additional product information. Some travel may be required for training, market research, sales initiatives, and attending regional trade shows.
The ideal candidate will be fluent in German at a native level, with Italian language skills considered a plus but not essential. A successful track record in telesales or call-center environments, particularly in exceeding objectives, is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate a customer-first approach, the ability to build trust and confidence with customers, and a proactive attitude toward improving service and resolving business needs. Strong collaboration skills, creativity, and a commitment to continuous improvement are also essential.
