OpenTable is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused German Speaking Billing Support Specialist to join our Customer Support team in London. This role is integral to our revenue cycle, ensuring billing accuracy, resolving complex inquiries, and managing collections. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and exceptional service skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment to proactively reduce churn and enhance the restaurant partner experience.

Key responsibilities include managing a high volume of inbound billing inquiries via phone and email, providing top-tier service, and conducting proactive outreach to discuss upcoming billing cycles and address potential financial concerns. The specialist will assist partners in understanding invoices, charges, credits, and payment terms, act as the first point of contact for billing disputes, and execute collections outreach strategies for past-due accounts. Additionally, the role involves processing ACH and credit card payments securely, maintaining accurate financial records, and identifying patterns in billing errors to recommend process improvements.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in billing, collections, or financial customer support, with proven ability to manage a complex queue of cases while maintaining high attention to detail. Proficiency in CRM/ERP software, particularly NetSuite or Salesforce, is highly desirable. Fluency in both German and English is essential, along with exceptional communication skills to explain complex accounting concepts in simple, partner-friendly language. A calm demeanor when handling high-pressure financial conversations and a forward-thinking mindset to prevent future issues are also key attributes.
