Feature Owner, ADAS
As a Feature Owner for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) at Wayve, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of specific ADAS functionalities, such as Traffic Light Recognition, High Beam Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring, and others. This role involves close collaboration with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), product teams, and engineering teams to ensure that these features meet customer requirements and align with Wayve's strategic objectives. Your contributions will directly enhance the capabilities and user experience of our autonomous driving systems.
In this position, your key responsibilities will include taking full accountability for specific ADAS features, ensuring their on-time delivery and adherence to agreed-upon specifications. You will collaborate with feature group owners and engineering teams to create feature specifications, actively engage in testing and validation processes, and provide early feedback throughout the development lifecycle. Additionally, you will serve as the central liaison between OEMs and internal teams, facilitating streamlined communication and aligning customer needs with Wayve's strategic vision.
The ideal candidate will have experience in specifying and facilitating ADAS feature development from concept to production, with a strong background in automotive processes, including requirements management, V-model, ASPICE, quality, and validation. Strong communication skills are essential for understanding and representing OEM customer needs, negotiating requirements, and aligning expectations between customers and internal teams. Technical competence and a hands-on approach are also crucial for engaging in discussions about trade-offs and feasibility, as well as actively participating in testing and validation processes.
