ESMA Data Analyst
Octus is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Bucharest office and contribute to the expansion of our financial data offerings. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing fundamental investment data, including financial statements and legal documentation, for public and private companies across Europe and the United States. This position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic fintech environment and support credit asset managers with critical investment insights.
As a Data Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include collecting and interpreting financial data to assist in the development of comprehensive investment analyses. You will collaborate closely with our team to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the data provided to our clients. Additionally, you will be expected to work under tight deadlines, delivering high-quality analyses that meet the needs of our diverse client base.
The ideal candidate will possess 1-3 years of experience in credit or financial statement analysis, gained within a bank, asset management firm, or auditing environment. A university degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance is required. Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with excellent oral and written communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a keen attention to detail are also necessary for success in this role.
