Enterprise Solutions Engineer
Box is seeking an Enterprise Solutions Engineer to join our New York City office, focusing on supporting enterprise clients to expand our footprint and break into new accounts. As a leader in Intelligent Content Management, Box enables organizations to fuel collaboration, manage the entire content lifecycle, secure critical content, and transform business workflows with enterprise AI. In this position, you will research, explore, and identify customer business problems, thinking like a builder to experiment, iterate, and refine solutions that enhance the customer experience. You will own the technical win in your accounts, taking responsibility for driving technical deals forward. Your role includes understanding product integrations, such as Salesforce, Google, and Office365, and leading demos that articulate the value of Box's full suite of solutions, including BoxAI, Box Web, Mobile, Shield, Relay, Sign, Governance, Canvas, and Platform. Additionally, you will act as a technical quarterback, managing the extended team from a solution standpoint, and support field marketing events as a Box subject matter expert and presenter. Travel up to 50% is expected to engage with customers in the territory.
The ideal candidate possesses a four-year degree or equivalent work experience and has over five years of pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting experience within SaaS, enterprise software, AI, or cloud platforms. You should be AI-curious and technically fluent, comfortable discussing concepts such as large language models, embeddings, automation, and prompt engineering with both technical and business audiences. Strong presentation skills are essential, with the ability to establish trust across a range of technical and non-technical audiences. A history of excelling in team selling environments and creativity in solving customer business problems are also key attributes. Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and modern architectures (REST, OAuth, JSON, Python, JavaScript) is a plus, as is experience with low-code/no-code automation tools like Nintex, Zapier, Workado, or n8n.
Box offers a competitive compensation package, with a United States pay range of $155,500 to $240,500 annually. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits, including healthcare and additional perks.
