Engineering Manager, Attendance
The Engineering Manager, Attendance at SeatGeek will lead a cross-functional team of engineers working on the Attendance product, which is integral to SeatGeek's ticketing platform. This role involves collaborating closely with product teams to enhance features that serve both fans and enterprise customers. SeatGeek is a mobile-focused ticket platform that simplifies and modernizes the ticketing industry, aiming to provide fans with seamless access to live events.
In this position, the manager will oversee a team of engineers working across multiple platforms, including backend and frontend technologies. Responsibilities include collaborating with product teams to design and develop product enhancements, guiding the team to improve operational and engineering best practices, providing regular performance feedback, and fostering a dynamic and inclusive environment. The role also involves participating in the recruiting process and performing code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience as an engineering manager leading productive teams and over 5 years as an engineer focused on writing code. A strong foundation in technical excellence, knowledge of the technology industry, and experience in both consumer and enterprise products are essential. Familiarity with products spanning native mobile, web, and backend systems is preferred. Experience in the sports technology industry is advantageous but not required. The role requires candidates to be based on the East Coast, with a preference for those in the New York City area.
The compensation package includes a salary range of $171,000 to $248,000 USD, with actual compensation based on factors such as skill set, experience, and location.
