Director, Strategy & Planning
The Director of Strategy & Planning at AlphaSense will lead the Strategy & Planning team within the Content Operations Strategy and Enablement (COSE) division. This role focuses on managing operational strategy and planning for Expert Call Services, Generated Content, and Compliance Operations teams. The Director will collaborate closely with Go-To-Market (GTM) teams on annual planning related to the call services business.
Key responsibilities include maintaining and building the annual plan, encompassing departmental output goals, operational targets, and staffing levels. The Director will own quarterly forecasting and goal-setting processes, monitor capacity and utilization to determine staffing needs, and lead go-to-market planning with Revenue Operations and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). Additionally, the role involves ensuring teams operate at target staffing levels through capacity monitoring and strategic course correction, owning the account segmentation framework, and leading account balancing and territory planning initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have over seven years of experience in consulting, corporate strategy, FP&A, revenue operations, strategic finance, or a high-growth startup, with at least two years of team management experience. Proficiency in advanced Excel and SQL is required, along with experience using Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI. Strong abilities in capacity modeling, performance forecasting, and impact quantification are essential. The candidate should be a quick, adaptive learner with strong operational acumen, capable of applying design thinking and structured problem-solving to create scalable systems and processes.

The base salary for this role ranges from $163,000 to $177,000, with a 20% performance-based bonus.
