Director, Strategic AI Partnerships
Bandwidth is seeking a Director of AI Strategic Partnerships & Data Licensing to spearhead its entry into the Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) ecosystem. Reporting directly to the Chief Strategy Officer, this pivotal role aims to position Bandwidth as the essential voice layer for leading AI companies. The successful candidate will bridge Bandwidth’s global network with next-generation AI-driven voice applications and establish the company's inaugural voice data licensing program.
Key responsibilities include identifying and engaging with major AI accounts such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Meta to promote Bandwidth as the premier platform for high-scale, low-latency voice integration. The role involves designing and implementing a framework for licensing Bandwidth’s unique voice data assets for AI training, ensuring compliance and high commercial value. Additionally, the director will build strategic relationships with C-suite executives and product leaders, act as the internal advocate for AI customers, and stay abreast of AI trends to identify new opportunities for Bandwidth.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and have over 10 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or product management within the SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or AI sectors. Experience in high-growth AI or SaaS environments is critical. A deep understanding of the AI stack, including data utilization by LLMs and requirements for real-time voice synthesis and recognition, is essential. The role demands a proactive mindset, proven ability to establish partnerships with top-tier tech companies, and exceptional communication skills to translate technical requirements into business strategies.
