Director, Sales & Services Canada
OpenTable is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Director of Sales & Services to oversee restaurant retention, acquisition, and revenue growth within Canada. This role involves leading a team of Sales Representatives and Account Managers, navigating local market conditions to ensure effective territory management and business expansion. The ideal candidate will possess a growth-oriented mindset, capable of overcoming challenges in restaurant acquisition and retention, and will be expected to drive innovative strategies and solutions to meet ambitious targets.
Key responsibilities include hiring, training, mentoring, and leading a team of Account Managers and Account Executives to consistently exceed sales and retention targets. The Director will utilize business acumen to identify key drivers of growth, providing data-driven strategies and compelling proposals that lead to revenue expansion. Building and nurturing strong relationships with key customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty is also essential. Additionally, the role involves maintaining in-depth knowledge of all OpenTable products and services, positioning them effectively to meet customer needs, and collaborating with regional marketing teams and strategic partners to execute initiatives aimed at business growth.
The position requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in SaaS sales, strategy, and account management, with a proven track record of driving business growth. At least 4 years of successful leadership experience managing sales and account management teams is essential, with a focus on developing localized strategies to generate growth. Strong analytical skills, competitive and goal-driven attitude, confidence in navigating challenging customer conversations, and a passion for the hospitality industry are crucial. Familiarity with local markets and fluency in French are desirable. Proficiency with Google Suite and Salesforce CRM is required, along with a willingness to travel regionally and internationally as needed.
