Director, Product Management
Diligent Corporation is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead the strategy, roadmap, and evolution of Stewardship Intelligence, a core data product within Diligent Market Intelligence. This role involves overseeing both Product Management and Research teams, focusing on delivering critical intelligence on meetings, executive compensation, corporate governance, and proxy voting to institutional asset managers, governance professionals, compensation advisers, and corporate issuers.
The Director will be responsible for refining the product vision, strategy, and prioritization for the Stewardship Intelligence portfolio. Key duties include leading and developing the Product Management and Research teams, enhancing dataset coverage and quality through process redesign and AI integration, and collaborating closely with Engineering and UX teams to define and launch high-quality product experiences. Additionally, the role involves building a deep understanding of customer needs and partnering with Commercial, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to support product positioning and adoption.
Candidates should have significant experience in Product Management, Research Operations, or Data Products, with a proven track record in leading teams and setting strategies for complex products or datasets. Mandatory domain experience in stewardship, proxy voting, corporate governance, executive compensation, investor relations, or a closely related capital-markets domain is required. The ideal candidate will also have experience delivering B2B SaaS, data, or intelligence products, leading research or data operations teams, and improving processes through automation or AI. Exceptional communication, analytical judgment, and stakeholder-management skills are essential.
