Director, Events & Experiential Marketing
Zenoti is seeking a self-directed and experienced Director of Events & Experiential Marketing to plan and manage the execution of strategic events. This role is integral to the Marketing team, collaborating with internal teams such as sales, product marketing, business development, field marketing, digital marketing, and external agencies to deliver impactful events for prospects. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional project management skills to oversee pre-event communication and post-event follow-up, optimizing lead generation opportunities.
Key responsibilities include delivering breakthrough brand events that maximize earned media by translating campaign creative and storytelling into real-life experiences. The Director will collaborate with field marketing peers, sales, and product teams to define event objectives, messaging, deliverables, speaking slots, and participation. Managing all aspects of events, including booth design, materials, shipping, on-site setup, vendor relationships, contracts, staff scheduling and training, attendee flows, engagement, and giveaways, is essential. Additionally, the role involves planning pre-, during-, and post-event social, digital, and online communication, engagement, and measurement, as well as co-located mini-events and meeting opportunities.
The position requires a minimum of 8 years of professional marketing experience in building, executing, and scaling multiple, complex, multi-faceted events and trade shows, ideally within the technology and beauty & wellness industries. Candidates should have experience using data and metrics to drive improvements, strong event management, project management, budget management, and reporting skills. The ability to frequently travel nationally and internationally, including weekends and stays up to a week, is necessary. Demonstrated experience in working with product and lead generation teams, using events to support awareness, relationship building, and lead generation, and reporting ROI is also required.
