Director, Corporate IT
Klaviyo is seeking a Director of Corporate IT to lead the strategy and execution of its internal technology environment. This role involves overseeing the corporate technology stack, including infrastructure, identity and access management, endpoint and office technology, collaboration platforms, and key enterprise applications. The Director will work closely with various departments to ensure a secure, reliable, and scalable technology foundation that supports company growth and enhances the employee experience.
Key responsibilities include defining and maintaining a multi-year strategy for Klaviyo's corporate technology stack, aligning IT initiatives with company goals, and managing a team of managers and senior technical leaders. The Director will oversee the design, operation, and continuous improvement of corporate infrastructure, establish IT service management practices, and drive automation and self-service solutions for core IT processes. Additionally, the role involves ensuring compliance with SOX and other regulatory requirements, embedding AI and data-driven decision-making into Corporate IT, and acting as a strategic partner and communicator with executive stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of progressive experience in Corporate IT, enterprise systems, infrastructure/platform engineering, or related technology roles within fast-growing tech or SaaS companies. They should possess at least 5 years of experience leading managers and senior individual contributors across multiple IT domains. A strong foundation in IT infrastructure and enterprise IT concepts, familiarity with platforms such as Okta, Google Workspace, Freshservice or ServiceNow, Workday, and Salesforce, and a proven track record in improving IT service reliability and efficiency are essential. Experience with SOX IT General Controls and other security and compliance frameworks is also required.
Klaviyo offers a competitive base salary ranging from $188,000 to $282,000, depending on factors such as job-related skills, experience, education, and work location. The total compensation package may include participation in the company's annual cash bonus plan, equity, sign-on payments, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits.
