The Demo Engineer role is pivotal in enhancing our sales and pre-sales activities within the Japanese market. Unlike traditional Solution Engineers who engage directly with customers, this position focuses on collaborating with sales and SE teams, as well as the Demo Engineer team at our U.S. headquarters, to design and develop 'demo assets' that effectively visualize the value of Box's solutions. Key responsibilities include building demo environments, creating video content, and developing tools for generating demo data to maximize the effectiveness of our sales engagements.
Ideal candidates will have a technical background in web application development or experience with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Node.js. While prior pre-sales experience is not mandatory, a strong interest in leveraging technology to address business challenges is essential. Proficiency in English is required to facilitate communication with our U.S. team, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders is crucial.
