Data Scientist

Tubi, a leading free streaming service, is seeking a Data Scientist to join our dynamic team in San Francisco, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative environment focused on delivering a vast collection of movies and TV shows to over 100 million monthly active users.

As a Data Scientist at Tubi, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining data processing pipelines that support our reporting, analytics, and performance insights. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build intuitive, high-quality datasets and specialized data products that empower non-engineering teams with deeper insights into their datasets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in big data and engineering principles, with experience in building and operating scalable, flexible, and always-on data pipelines. Proficiency in data manipulation, SQL, Spark, Python, and familiarity with tools like Databricks, DBT, and Airflow are essential. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with at least 7 years of industry experience in a data engineering role, is required.

Tubi offers a competitive compensation package, including an annual discretionary bonus, long-term incentive plan, and various benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off. The salary range for this role is $212,000 - $302,800 USD annually, depending on education, skills, experience, and location.
