Creators Community Manager - India
Canva is seeking a Creators Community Manager to lead the growth and engagement of its Creator community in India. This role involves designing and executing strategies to onboard, inspire, and nurture passionate creator community members, aligning with Canva's mission to empower the world to design. The position is based in Bengaluru, India, with a focus on fostering a vibrant and inclusive community of creators.
Key responsibilities include defining and executing the India Creators community strategy, building and managing the community to foster growth and engagement, and identifying and nurturing creative talent to ensure alignment with visual trends and Canva’s quality standards. The role also involves collaborating cross-functionally with content, marketing, SEO, product, and global teams to design and deliver impactful initiatives and campaigns. Additionally, the manager will craft clear and inclusive communications, create strong feedback loops, use data and insights to measure community health, and act as a relationship-builder to strengthen creator trust and retention.
The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in community management and program management, with a proven track record of building and scaling thriving creative communities. They should be strong relationship builders, collaborative operators, and adaptable and proactive in balancing long-term program building with short-term campaign execution. Proficiency with community management platforms, event planning expertise, analytical mindset, strong public speaking and facilitation skills, and experience working in global organizations are essential. Deep knowledge of the Indian creative and cultural landscape, content creation skills, and excellent communication skills in Hindi and English are also required.
