In this capacity, the Corporate Counsel will serve as the primary legal advisor for Market Access, addressing a wide array of legal, compliance, and regulatory issues. Key responsibilities include advising on the Anti-Kickback Statute, the False Claims Act, the Inflation Reduction Act, and competition law matters. The role also involves preparing, reviewing, and negotiating complex government, payor, and trade agreements, as well as providing strategic counsel to senior management on product pricing and access matters.
Candidates for this position should possess a law degree from an ABA-accredited law school and be in good standing with the state bar of the jurisdiction where the office is located. A minimum of five years of relevant legal experience is required, with prior pharmaceutical experience preferred. Applicants should have a strong understanding of commercial payor and trade contracting, along with the emerging legal and regulatory landscape. The role demands excellent communication skills and the ability to independently identify practical legal solutions to complex challenges in high-pressure, matrixed environments.
