Key responsibilities include serving as counsel for the Government Price Reporting function, advising on legal, regulatory, and compliance issues related to federal government price reporting requirements. The position also involves providing strategic legal counsel to senior management on product pricing and access matters, preparing, reviewing, and negotiating complex government agreements, and assisting in the development of policies and training programs. Additionally, the Senior Counsel will resolve routine legal matters with direct supervision as needed and assist more experienced attorneys in addressing complex legal issues on cross-functional projects.

Candidates for this position should possess a law degree from an ABA-accredited law school and be in good standing with the state bar of the jurisdiction in which the office is located, or have the ability to gain licensure in that state. A minimum of 7 years of relevant legal experience is required, with prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry being essential. Proficiency in government price reporting requirements, including AMP, Best Price, ASP, and 340B, as well as federal health care program contracting (e.g., Medicaid, VA), is necessary. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to manage high-visibility projects, and the capacity to independently identify practical legal solutions to complex challenges in high-pressure, matrixed environments.

Compensation for this role is competitive, with a base salary range between $156,000 and $296,500 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
