Commercial Account Executive
As a Commercial Account Executive at Box, you will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle within the Small Medium Business segment, targeting companies with 1-500 employees. This role involves identifying new opportunities with potential clients and existing customers, conducting discovery calls and demos, negotiating deals, and closing new business across various industries. You will be part of a dynamic sales team dedicated to expanding Box's presence in the market and driving revenue growth.
Your key responsibilities will include thorough research to understand customers' unique business challenges and demonstrating how Box can provide value. You will drive the sales process by influencing key stakeholders both internally and externally, developing comprehensive territory plans that cover all aspects of your target market, and scheduling visits to meet customers face-to-face within your assigned territory to build strong relationships.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in sales, with prior closing experience required. Experience in B2B or technology sales is preferred but not mandatory. You should possess strong outbound prospecting skills, the ability to build and manage a pipeline, and a proven track record of meeting key performance indicators. A willingness to learn about Box’s product offerings, new technologies, the industry, and our customers' businesses is essential.
