As a Commercial Account Executive at Box, you will be a key member of our Small Medium Business team, focusing on identifying and securing new business opportunities within both new and existing client accounts. In this position, you will manage the entire sales cycle, including prospecting, conducting discovery calls and demos, negotiating deals, and closing new and existing business across various industries within the Small Medium Business segment (1-500 employees). You will conduct thorough research to understand customers' unique business challenges and demonstrate how Box can add value. Additionally, you will drive the sales process by influencing key stakeholders both internally and externally, develop comprehensive territory plans, and schedule visits to meet customers face-to-face within your assigned territory.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of sales experience, with prior closing experience being essential. While experience in B2B or technology sales is preferred, it is not required. Candidates should have experience in outbound prospecting and the ability to build and manage a pipeline, along with a proven track record of meeting key performance indicators. A willingness to learn about Box’s product, new technologies, the industry, and our customers' businesses is crucial. Successful candidates will have clear examples of closing deals using an established sales process and the ability to identify opportunities for growth in new territories. Previous experience in building relationships and selling to executives at all levels is also important.

Box offers a competitive compensation package, including equity and benefits. The United States pay range for this role is $125,500 to $157,000 USD annually. Additional benefits include flexible time off, birthday holidays, volunteer time off, and a sabbatical after seven years.
