Commercial Account Executive
As a Commercial Account Executive at Box, you will be a key member of our Small Medium Business team, focusing on identifying and securing new business opportunities within both new and existing client accounts. Box is a leader in Intelligent Content Management, providing a platform that enables organizations to collaborate effectively, manage content lifecycles, and transform workflows with enterprise AI. In this position, you will manage the entire sales cycle, including prospecting, conducting discovery calls and demos, negotiating deals, and closing new and existing business across various industries within the Small Medium Business segment (1-500 employees). You will conduct thorough research to understand customers' unique business challenges and demonstrate how Box can add value. Additionally, you will drive the sales process by influencing key stakeholders both internally and externally, develop comprehensive territory plans, and schedule visits to meet customers face-to-face within your assigned territory.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of sales experience, with prior closing experience required. While experience in B2B or technology sales is preferred, it is not mandatory. Candidates should have experience in outbound prospecting and the ability to build and manage a pipeline, along with a proven track record of meeting key performance indicators. A growth mindset and openness to learning about Box’s product, new technologies, the industry, and customers' businesses are essential. Additionally, the ability to identify opportunities for growth in new territories and build relationships with executives at all levels is crucial.
