Channel and Customer Research Associate

The Channel and Customer Research Associate at AlphaSense plays a pivotal role in delivering real-time insights into company performance and industry conditions. As part of the Channel & Customer Research (CCR) team, the associate conducts structured interviews with distributors, resellers, suppliers, consultants, and other channel partners to capture perspectives on market dynamics. Leveraging AlphaSense’s AI Interviewer technology, the team continuously expands coverage while maintaining consistency and analytical rigor.

Key responsibilities include sourcing and prospecting industry experts for critical, time-sensitive projects, creatively investigating and identifying industry information using various tools, and contacting top decision-makers across industries via LinkedIn, email, and phone calls. The associate connects investors with these decision-makers to facilitate informed decisions, manages multiple projects simultaneously in a performance-driven environment, and has the opportunity to advance into customer-facing account management roles.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in sales, recruiting, account management, sourcing, or similar roles, with experience in strategic sourcing and cold outreach. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the confidence to engage with C-level executives. The role requires energy, enthusiasm, a positive attitude, persistence, drive, and a goal-focused mindset. Strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to learn and improve are also important.
