Case Manager
Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm, is seeking a dedicated Case Manager to join their team in Charleston, West Virginia. This role is integral to the firm's mission of advocating for clients against large corporations and insurance companies. The Case Manager will work closely with attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management and client satisfaction.
The primary responsibilities include daily interactions with clients, both existing and potential, through telephone and in-person meetings. The Case Manager will be responsible for ordering medical records from providers, communicating with clients and providers throughout the treatment process, and obtaining necessary documents to support injury and liability positions. Additionally, the role involves interacting with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances, maintaining organized case files, and preparing comprehensive demands for submission to carriers under attorney supervision.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree, with prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager, Prelitigation Paralegal, or Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster being strongly preferred. At least two years of experience in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster is also highly desirable. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage workloads with minimal supervision, along with strong writing and communication skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a typing speed of no less than 35 words per minute are required.
