The Business Development Representative (BDR) role at Emplifi focuses on identifying and engaging key decision-makers within leading brands to drive new business opportunities in the APAC region. Emplifi is a unified social media management platform that empowers over 20,000 global brands to enhance their digital and social customer experiences. The BDR will be part of an international sales team dedicated to scaling digital customer experience innovations and operations across various industries.

Key responsibilities include identifying and contacting relevant decision-makers to generate new business opportunities, conducting needs assessment calls with prospects, and supporting the Marketing and Sales departments through lead generation. The BDR will qualify inbound and outbound leads via phone, web, email, corporate events, and direct mail campaigns. Additionally, the role involves working closely with an assigned Account Executive or Regional Sales Manager and the marketing team to achieve personal and team targets, developing and implementing prospect communication plans, and ensuring the quality and quantity of product demonstrations. Communicating Emplifi's value proposition to schedule online product demonstrations and face-to-face meetings is also a key aspect of the role.

The ideal candidate will have previous successful client-facing experience, preferably in B2B sales or telesales. Fluency in English is essential, and additional languages, particularly Mandarin, are advantageous. The role requires the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment, a commitment to meeting and exceeding measurable performance goals, and a willingness to learn about social and brand marketing. Technical aptitude to master CRM tools and the ability to handle objections effectively are also important qualifications.
