The Business Development Manager at OpenTable is responsible for expanding the company's restaurant network in Bangkok, Thailand. This role involves a consultative sales approach to introduce OpenTable's reservation and guest management solutions to prospective restaurant clients. The position is remote, with up to 60% travel within Bangkok to visit clients and restaurants.

Key responsibilities include identifying and approaching potential restaurant customers, conducting customized product demonstrations, and consistently achieving monthly and quarterly acquisition targets. The manager will build and maintain high-level relationships, serve as a trusted advisor to clients, and utilize Salesforce to develop strategic plans, build reliable forecasts, and process contracts. Staying informed about ongoing product and technology developments is essential to generate effective selling strategies and tactics.

The ideal candidate is motivated by controlling their earning potential through a commission-based structure and has a passion for hospitality and technology. While restaurant management and/or sales experience in the food and beverage industry is strongly preferred, it is not essential. The candidate should possess strong discovery and negotiation skills, be highly analytical, and have experience in capturing data to develop compelling strategies. Proficiency in Google Suite and Salesforce CRM is required, along with bilingual fluency in Thai and English.
