Backend Engineer, New Grad
As a Backend Engineer at AppLovin, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to developing and maintaining large-scale distributed systems that handle billions of requests daily. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale distributed systems. Collaboration with various engineering teams is essential to address a wide range of technological challenges. Additionally, you will work closely with the product team to influence and contribute to the roadmap of AppLovin's products and technologies, while also inspiring and guiding team members.
Candidates should possess 0-2+ years of experience and hold a minimum of a BS and/or MS in Computer Science. A strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and coding, is required. While professional experience with C++ and/or Java is a plus, the ability to independently create and maintain projects is highly valued.
AppLovin offers a competitive total compensation package, including equity eligibility, health insurance (medical, dental, vision, life, disability), a 401(k) retirement plan, unlimited discretionary time off, 10 paid holidays per year, and 80 hours of paid sick leave annually. The base pay range for this position in California is $124,000 - $186,000 USD, with total compensation varying based on factors such as market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
