Associate Software Engineer (Content Support)
The Associate Software Engineer (Content Support) at Bloomreach is a Level 1 support role within the Content Support team, focusing on the Content PaaS module of the Bloomreach Experience (BRX) platform. This position involves providing technical assistance to a diverse clientele, ensuring the seamless operation of Bloomreach's content management solutions.
Key responsibilities include acting as the primary contact for customer-reported issues via the Zendesk ticketing system, performing initial triage, and ensuring that functional requirements are met. The role also involves continuous monitoring of system health dashboards, alerts, and logs using tools like Humio and Cloudflare, acknowledging and addressing priority alerts, and participating in rotational shifts to provide 24/7 on-call support. Effective communication with customers and internal teams is essential, as is maintaining detailed records of issues and resolutions.
Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in technical support roles within the service industry or retail sector. Proficiency in core Java coding and common Java libraries is required, along with experience in Java frameworks like Spring and front-end technologies such as Angular or React. Familiarity with Java-based content management tools like Adobe Experience Manager or IBM WebSphere is beneficial. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to read and understand code, and experience with monitoring tools like Datadog or Dynatrace are also important.
