Associate Financial Analyst

AlphaSense is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. This role focuses on advancing data annotation and analysis for AI model training and evaluating AI-based model outputs. The successful candidate will collaborate with software experts, AI researchers, and product managers to develop next-generation Generative AI features for market intelligence.

Key responsibilities include analyzing and interpreting various financial documents such as earnings calls, SEC filings, broker research reports, and news articles. The analyst will evaluate and rank language model outputs based on criteria like comprehensiveness and factual accuracy. Additionally, the role involves analyzing customer usage patterns to identify opportunities for product enhancements and new AI model applications.

The ideal candidate holds a Chartered Accountant (CA) certification or has completed all three levels of the CFA program, demonstrating exceptional understanding of financial concepts and data. They should possess 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, along with proficiency in workplace productivity tools such as GSuite and MS Office, are essential.
