Structuretx is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as an Associate Director to Executive Director in the Computer-Aided Drug Design (CADD) department. This pivotal role involves leading a team of computational chemists and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive our drug discovery initiatives forward. As a key member of our organization, you will contribute to the strategic direction and scientific excellence of our CADD efforts.
In this position, you will oversee the development and application of computational methods to support drug discovery projects. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing computational strategies, analyzing complex datasets, and providing insights to guide experimental design. Additionally, you will mentor team members, foster a collaborative environment, and ensure the integration of computational approaches with other scientific disciplines.
The ideal candidate will possess a Ph.D. in computational chemistry, biophysics, or a related field, along with substantial experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. A strong background in molecular modeling, structure-based drug design, and familiarity with various computational tools and software is essential. Excellent leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a proven track record of successful project management are also required.
