Associate Director, Program Management - Pricing & Packaging
AlphaSense is seeking an Associate Director, Program Management - Pricing & Packaging to lead the execution of its global pricing and packaging initiatives. This pivotal role is central to the company's growth strategy, requiring a seasoned leader capable of bridging high-level commercial strategy with detailed execution. The successful candidate will drive complex pricing programs from conception through global launch, collaborating across Product, Sales, Finance, Legal, and Marketing teams.
Key responsibilities include managing end-to-end program execution for critical pricing initiatives, from initial scoping and financial modeling to global rollout and post-launch optimization. The role involves orchestrating cross-functional execution to ensure technical readiness and commercial consistency for each pricing change. Additionally, the Associate Director will design and implement a global governance framework for reviewing and approving new pricing models, discount structures, and packaging tests. Partnering with leadership, the individual will conduct market research, competitive benchmarking, and data modeling to define key performance indicators for new pricing structures and multi-product bundles. Developing executive communications to translate complex data into impactful updates and recommendations for senior leadership is also a crucial aspect of the role.
The ideal candidate will have 8–12 years of experience in Program Management, Business Operations, or Strategy Consulting, with a proven track record in leading large-scale pricing and packaging transformations within fast-paced, matrixed environments. Deep expertise in B2B SaaS pricing and packaging is essential, including an understanding of seat-based versus usage-based models and enterprise discounting frameworks. Advanced modeling skills in Excel or Google Sheets, coupled with the ability to translate complex data into strategic narratives for executive decision-making, are required. Exceptional collaboration and influencing skills are necessary to build consensus and drive alignment across senior stakeholders in Engineering, Sales, Finance, and other departments. The candidate should be highly organized and comfortable with ambiguity, capable of creating structure where none exists and driving initiatives to completion despite deep cross-functional dependencies.
The base compensation range for this position is $160,000 to $185,000 USD. Additional components may include a performance-based bonus, equity, and a generous benefits program.
