Arabic SEO Lead (MENA)
Canva is seeking an Arabic SEO Lead to drive its search engine optimization efforts across key markets in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and Egypt. This role is integral to Canva's mission of democratizing design by implementing localized strategies that resonate with Arabic-speaking users. The successful candidate will be part of the Logged Out Experience (LOX) Group and the International Supergroup, working closely with both regional teams and the central SEO team to enhance Canva's presence in these markets.
The Arabic SEO Lead will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive SEO strategy tailored to the unique characteristics of the MENA region. This includes overseeing technical SEO, content creation, and authority-building initiatives to increase user engagement and market penetration. Key responsibilities involve analyzing market performance, adapting strategies to shifts in user behavior, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with Canva's global growth objectives.
Candidates should be native Arabic speakers with a strong command of regional dialects and possess business-level English proficiency. A deep understanding of Arabic search behavior, cultural nuances, and internet user dynamics across the specified markets is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading successful SEO projects on large websites, comprehensive knowledge of SEO tools and analytics platforms, and the ability to develop and manage high-performing teams. Experience in cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decision-making is also required.
