AI Engineer II
As an AI Engineer II at Klaviyo, you will be instrumental in developing AI-powered systems that autonomously create and execute marketing strategies for a diverse clientele. This role is central to Klaviyo's mission of enhancing customer engagement through advanced artificial intelligence solutions.
Your primary responsibilities will include designing and building scalable backend systems to support AI solutions for over 182,000 customers. You will develop robust data collection and processing pipelines for machine learning models, ensuring high-quality outputs at low latency. Additionally, you will collaborate with AI Engineers and AI Infrastructure Engineers to evolve Klaviyo's agentic architecture, making AI agents more self-sufficient and performant.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building high-quality products and systems, with at least 3 years of experience in software engineering. Proficiency in Python and modern backend frameworks such as FastAPI or Django is essential. Experience with big data tools like Apache Spark and Hadoop, as well as knowledge of asynchronous processing and distributed task queues, is highly desirable. A strong understanding of database technologies and ORMs, along with the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment, is also required.
Klaviyo offers a competitive base salary ranging from $116,000 to $174,000 USD, depending on factors such as job-related skills, experience, and location.
