AlphaSense is seeking an Accounts Receivable Client Onboarding and Customer Specialist to join their growing team. This role reports directly to the Billing & Collections Manager and serves as the primary point of contact for various accounts receivable activities. The specialist will focus on resolving client communications regarding billing and collections inquiries, as well as internal requests related to the same. Additionally, the role involves overseeing all vendor onboarding and third-party platform management. The ideal candidate will be part of a dynamic team at a well-funded growth-stage tech company, engaging directly with clients and multiple internal teams, with significant opportunities for career advancement as the company scales.

Key responsibilities include managing the combined Billing & Collections email queue, ensuring all inquiries are addressed within a 24-business-hour service level agreement (SLA). The specialist will handle tasks such as completing banking forms, providing financial documentation like W-9s and tax certificates, resubmitting invoices through the billing system as needed, and responding to urgent escalation requests. Vendor onboarding responsibilities involve reviewing, validating, and maintaining vendor records, providing necessary documents, ensuring accurate vendor creation in procurement systems, and performing high-importance confirmations like bank verification and TIN validation. The role also entails reviewing contracts and Salesforce data, auditing sales orders and invoices within the billing system, and ensuring compliance with company policies and client requirements.

Candidates should possess a BCOM, MCOM, BBA, or MBA in Finance, with a preference for those with over one year of experience in order-to-cash (O2C) collections, revenue recognition and reconciliation, and email queue or case management. Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite is preferred. Essential skills include excellent written and verbal communication, data management, customer service, billing and collections experience, problem-solving, and multitasking. Secondary skills encompass time management, ownership of case management, proficiency in Excel and G Suite, and the ability to work independently while maintaining integrity and confidentiality.
