Box is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist I to join its Global Accounts Payable Team in Warsaw, Poland. This role involves managing daily vendor invoicing, handling expense reports, and contributing to month-end close processes. The position reports to the Accounts Payable Manager based in Austin and offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic, rapidly scaling environment.

Key responsibilities include processing a high volume of invoices through the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring all entries have appropriate supporting documents and approvals. The specialist will resolve discrepancies related to purchase orders, invoices, and payments, and will review and process weekly employee expense reports using Concur. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with other departments to address accounts payable issues and supporting inquiries related to ZIP, Coupa, and Concur systems. Month-end close duties encompass processing all invoices and expense reimbursements, conducting root cause analyses of recurring adjustments, and recommending process improvements.

Candidates should have 2-4 years of accounting experience, particularly in accounts payable and expense reimbursements. Strong teamwork, time management, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential. A self-motivated and independent approach is valued, along with a desire to grow within the company. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics is preferred. Familiarity with US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), and proficiency in MS Excel are advantageous. Experience with NetSuite, Concur, Coupa, or ZIP is considered beneficial.
