Accounting Manager

OpenTable is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day accounting and month-end close processes for key operational areas, including marketing and fixed assets. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, collaborating with global teams to standardize processes, and providing insightful financial analysis to senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include leading the month-end close for designated areas, performing technical reviews of commercial contracts, and delivering comprehensive P&L and balance sheet analyses. The Accounting Manager will also champion process improvements, standardize operations in partnership with the Centre of Excellence team, and collaborate cross-functionally to maintain a robust internal control framework.

The ideal candidate is a fully qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA) with solid experience in financial accounting roles, including ownership of month-end close processes and reconciliations. Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to managing multiple deadlines are essential.
