Account Manager
OpenTable is seeking an Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of restaurant partners in Bangkok, Thailand. This role involves managing the full customer lifecycle, from onboarding to ongoing support, ensuring that restaurants maximize the benefits of OpenTable's technology solutions. The position is remotely based in Bangkok with up to 60% domestic travel requirements.
Key responsibilities include cultivating and building upon existing high-level relationships to serve as a trusted advisor to restaurants. The Account Manager will assist restaurant management with configuration to optimize reservation flow, understand customer needs to identify sales opportunities for premium marketing tools, and build data-driven presentations for ongoing business reviews. Achieving company goals and sales objectives set quarterly, tracking weekly meeting activity in Salesforce, and acting as an advocate for restaurant customers to resolve cross-functional issues are also essential duties.
The ideal candidate will have account management or equivalent experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment, with validated customer service skills. Deep expertise in restaurant operations and management, including comprehension of P&L and financial statements, is required. The candidate should be a good listener, capable of understanding restaurants' business objectives, and comfortable with a consultative sales approach. Strong writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills, along with proficiency in Google Suite and an understanding of Apple products and operating systems, are necessary. A college degree is preferred, and a valid driving license and transportation are required.
