Account Manager
Octus is seeking an Account Manager to oversee and expand relationships with a portfolio of banking or buyside clients. This role involves managing subscription renewals, identifying opportunities for account growth, and cross-selling additional Octus products. The position is based in our London office, operating on a hybrid schedule with three days in the office per week.
Key responsibilities include managing all aspects of the renewal cycle for Octus' subscription relationships, focusing on expansion opportunities within accounts to achieve a net retention target of over 115%. The Account Manager will collaborate with the customer success team to deliver excellent client service, coordinate with the product team to identify opportunities for product enhancements, and track and analyze key performance indicators and product usage to determine appropriate relationship management strategies.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of progressive experience in an account management role, selling to buyside firms or banks, preferably with experience in credit. They should possess the ability to manage complex institutions involving multiple teams and stakeholders, develop a deep knowledge of a complex suite of products such as datasets, API feeds, and research, and demonstrate proven success in meeting quotas and executing cross-sell opportunities. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, and experience with Salesforce are required.
Octus offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of £70,000 to £90,000, with eligibility for a quarterly commission bonus.
