The Account Manager - Central Queue at OpenTable is responsible for managing a portfolio of restaurant partners, driving engagement, increasing reservation availability, and reducing customer churn. This role involves remote interactions with clients through phone, email, webinars, and other methods to convey ideas, perform training, and resolve issues. The position is based in Melbourne, Australia, with plans to transition to a hybrid in-office schedule two days per week.

Key responsibilities include leading the overall management of valuable business segments, resolving customer cases daily, sharing data with restaurants to drive adoption, and performing remote presentations and training sessions. The Account Manager will work closely with customers to drive engagement on the OpenTable platform and increase reservation availability, respond to partner concerns, and inspire customers to think differently about their business to achieve mutual success.

The ideal candidate will have experience in account management and consultative selling, with a deep knowledge of restaurant operations. They should be self-motivated, capable of performing well under pressure, and skilled at presenting new perspectives to customers. Aptitude for using data to inform business decisions, excellent communication and training skills, and the ability to work across departments to solve problems are essential. Experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM solutions is a plus, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
