Account Executive, Public Sector
As an Account Executive in the Public Sector at Box Japan, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our presence within government agencies. Box is a leader in Intelligent Content Management, providing solutions that enhance collaboration, manage content lifecycles, and secure critical information. Established in 2013, Box Japan has been instrumental in supporting numerous organizations, including a significant portion of Nikkei 225 companies, in their digital transformation journeys.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and addressing the unique challenges faced by public sector clients. Your day-to-day activities will involve engaging with key stakeholders such as CIOs and IT executives to build trust and understand their specific needs. You will lead complex, long-term projects, ensuring timely and effective decision-making, while also securing smaller, short-term wins to maintain momentum and contribute to the organization's revenue goals.
The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience in account sales within the IT industry, particularly with enterprise software products. Experience working with central government agencies or local municipalities is essential. A proactive approach to acquiring new clients, coupled with the ability to simplify complex cloud technologies for diverse audiences, is crucial. While not mandatory, experience in SaaS product sales and business-level English proficiency are advantageous.
