Account Executive
The Account Executive at OpenTable is responsible for expanding the company's dining network by engaging new restaurant partners through a consultative sales approach. This role involves working within a defined territory, building relationships with restaurant owners and operators, and introducing them to OpenTable's front-of-house management and online reservation technology. The position is field-based, allowing for direct interaction with clients and the flexibility to manage one's schedule effectively.
Key responsibilities include identifying and approaching prospective restaurant customers, conducting tailored product demonstrations, and driving revenue growth by positioning OpenTable's platform as an essential tool for restaurant operations. The Account Executive will develop strategic territory plans, manage a high-quality sales pipeline, and consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly acquisition targets. Collaboration with internal teams, such as Product and Marketing, is essential to provide feedback and enhance the sales process.
Candidates should possess a proven track record in new business sales, preferably within the hospitality or SaaS industries. A high-energy, target-driven mindset is crucial, along with excellent communication skills capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels. Strong commercial acumen, the ability to uncover customer needs, and proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce are also required. A full UK driving license and access to a car are necessary for this field-based role.
