Account Executive
The Account Executive at OpenTable is responsible for expanding the company's restaurant network through a consultative sales approach. This field-based role focuses on engaging with restaurant owners and operators across regions such as Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset, and Wiltshire. The position offers autonomy in scheduling and emphasizes face-to-face interactions to foster strong client relationships.
Key responsibilities include identifying and closing new business opportunities with both independent and enterprise restaurants. The Account Executive will conduct tailored product demonstrations, develop strategic territory plans, and consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly acquisition targets. Collaboration with Restaurant Relations Managers ensures long-term success for clients, while feedback on market trends and customer insights contributes to product and marketing strategies.
Candidates should possess a full UK driving license and access to a car, along with a proven track record in new business sales, preferably within the hospitality or SaaS sectors. A high-energy, target-driven mindset, excellent communication skills, and strong commercial acumen are essential. Proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce and the ability to manage administrative tasks effectively are also required.
