The Account Executive at OpenTable is responsible for expanding the company's dining network by engaging new restaurant partners through a consultative sales approach. This role involves working within a dynamic sales team dedicated to enhancing restaurant revenue potential using OpenTable's front-of-house management and online reservation technology. OpenTable, a leader in the hospitality industry with over 25 years of experience, empowers restaurants to focus on their teams, guests, and bottom line while enabling diners to discover and book the perfect dining experiences.

Key responsibilities include identifying and approaching prospective restaurant customers within an assigned territory to sell OpenTable products. The Account Executive will build and maintain relationships with top and elite restaurants, serving as a trusted advisor to the client base. The role involves providing high-quality, data-driven in-person and online demonstrations of OpenTable products tailored to each partner's needs, driving revenue by creating opportunities that benefit all parties, and educating operators about industry trends and insights.

Candidates should have significant experience in B2B enterprise sales and be native German speakers with business-level proficiency in English. The role requires a high-reaching, tenacious, and goal-oriented professional who takes the lead, emphasizes outbound activities, and demonstrates professional persistence. Strong discovery skills, the ability to reframe and challenge customers' business perspectives, outstanding negotiating skills, and proficiency in Google Suite and Salesforce CRM are essential. A college degree is required.

OpenTable offers a comprehensive benefits package, including 30 days of annual vacation, one celebration day per calendar year, a pension scheme with a 20% company contribution, and JobRad bike leasing with tax benefits. Employees can work from almost anywhere for up to 20 days per year. The company emphasizes mental health and well-being, providing company-paid therapy sessions through SpringHealth and a subscription to Headspace. Additional benefits include paid parental leave, paid volunteer time, development dollars, leadership development opportunities, access to thousands of on-demand e-learnings, travel discounts, and participation in employee resource groups.

OpenTable fosters a global and dynamic work environment, accommodating a workforce operating across multiple time zones. While most responsibilities align with conventional business hours, there may be instances requiring communication outside regular working hours to collaborate with international colleagues, respond to restaurant partners, or address urgent matters. The company is committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels they belong and can thrive, building a team as dynamic as the diners and restaurants it serves, and fostering a culture where everyone feels welcome to be themselves.
