Working Student - Tech

As a Working Student in the Tech team at IMC's Aarhus office, you will gain firsthand experience in a leading global trading firm, contributing to analytical, technical, or strategic projects that align with your background and interests. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a high-performance environment where innovation and collaboration are key.

Your primary responsibilities will include supporting the Aarhus team by analyzing data, building tools, and developing insights to enhance decision-making and efficiency. You will collaborate closely with IMC's quantitative researchers and engineers across global offices, learning about the trading technology landscape and IMC's unique approach to integrating software, data, and markets.

To be successful in this role, you should be currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative, technical, or business-related field such as Mathematics, Computer Science, or Economics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with experience in C++ or Java. While a genuine interest in financial markets is beneficial, no prior knowledge or experience is required. Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset are also important. Availability to work part-time (approximately 15–20 hours per week) in the IMC Aarhus office is necessary.
