Wisconsin Remote Mental Health Licensed Therapist, 1099 Contractor
Headspace is seeking part-time, independently licensed therapists to provide virtual mental health services to clients in Wisconsin. As a 1099 contractor, you will join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality, innovative teletherapy through a HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to set your own schedule while contributing to Headspace's mission of improving mental well-being.
In this position, you will conduct virtual therapy sessions, including 60-minute intake appointments and 45-minute follow-ups, with concurrent note-taking expected. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate clinical case notes within 48 hours, keeping your availability calendar updated, and collaborating with a care team that includes health coaches, other therapists, psychiatrists, and external providers. Regular communication with clinical leadership and adherence to company protocols are essential.
Candidates must hold an independent clinical license in good standing, such as LCSW, LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, LCPC, LPCC, or LPC, and have at least three years of experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, or families. Proficiency in evidence-based practices like CBT, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness is required, along with a commitment to culturally responsive care. Strong technological skills and a reliable internet connection are necessary for delivering teletherapy services.
Compensation for this role ranges from $77 to $82 per session, depending on factors such as location, licensure, experience, and specializations.
