VP Enterprise Engineering & Business Platforms
Datavant is seeking a Vice President of Enterprise Engineering & Business Platforms to lead the unification and enhancement of its enterprise business platform layer, encompassing finance, CRM, integration, automation, and customer identity systems. This executive role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of revenue-critical systems that process substantial financial transactions and support complex healthcare workflows.
The VP will be responsible for defining and executing the architectural vision for Datavant's enterprise platforms, establishing clear system boundaries, integration patterns, and governance standards. Key duties include preventing platform fragmentation, particularly within Salesforce and financial systems, and developing a scalable platform model capable of integrating new business domains and acquisitions. The role also involves modernizing financial system patterns to support growth and compliance requirements, partnering closely with Finance leadership to ensure systems are scalable, audit-ready, and operationally resilient.
Candidates should possess over 15 years of technology leadership experience, with at least 5 years leading enterprise engineering or platform organizations at the VP or senior director level. Essential qualifications include a deep understanding of integration architecture, middleware, APIs, and event-driven system design, as well as experience managing commercial off-the-shelf platforms like Salesforce or NetSuite without allowing architectural drift. Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, life sciences, or financial services is preferred.
