Embedded Remote Processor

Datavant is seeking an Embedded Remote Processor to join our EMR Remote team. This role involves processing Release of Information (ROI) requests, specifically handling medical record requests efficiently and accurately. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to our mission of making health data secure, accessible, and actionable.

In this position, you will be responsible for entering accurate data as assigned by the team lead, remotely processing electronic medical records through various EMR systems, and adapting to changing priorities with minimal supervision. You will also report technical difficulties promptly, meet required metrics such as Charts Per Hour (CPH) and attendance, participate in assigned training, and maintain high standards of confidentiality to protect patient rights in compliance with company policies and HIPAA regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least six months of data entry experience, and preferably experience in a healthcare environment or release of information setting. Proficiency in Windows-based applications like Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook is essential. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, adaptability to changing business environments, and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote, cross-departmental setting are also required.

This is a full-time remote position with working hours from Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential overtime depending on inventory needs. Compensation ranges from $15 to $18.32 per hour, depending on location, responsibilities, skills, and experience.
