Vice President, Investor Relations
The Vice President of Investor Relations at Wellhub will establish and lead the investor relations function as the company transitions to a public entity. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive investor communication strategies, engaging directly with institutional investors and analysts, and collaborating closely with the CFO and CEO to articulate Wellhub's long-term value proposition in the capital markets. Wellhub is a global platform headquartered in New York City, connecting employees worldwide to a variety of wellness services, including fitness, mindfulness, therapy, nutrition, and sleep, all within a single subscription.
Key responsibilities include building and scaling the investor relations function, defining investor strategy and messaging frameworks, and leading the creation of all investor materials such as presentations, Q&A preparations, earnings materials, and shareholder communications. The role also involves driving investor targeting and relationship development, maintaining regular contact with key buy-side and sell-side stakeholders, and serving as a senior spokesperson with the investment community. Additionally, the Vice President will collaborate with the CFO, CEO, and external advisors on IPO planning and execution, lead cross-functional coordination for key investor events, monitor industry and peer activity, and oversee investor relations systems, processes, and compliance activities.
Candidates should have over 12 years of experience in investment banking, preferably in Equity Capital Markets (ECM) or Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT), and/or investor relations at a high-growth technology or global company. Demonstrated leadership in building and managing investor relations programs for public companies, with direct IPO experience, is essential. The role requires exceptional communication skills, a deep understanding of capital markets and valuation frameworks, and confidence in interacting directly with institutional investors and analysts. Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills, along with a collaborative approach and the ability to influence across functions and levels of the organization, are also important. Integrity, discretion, and sound judgment in handling sensitive information are critical. Candidates should be based in or willing to travel regularly to the Northeast to engage with the executive team and investor events.
The annual base salary range for this role is $217,002 to $298,378, depending on geographic location, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
