UX Research Intern
Xometry is seeking a UX Research Intern to join our dynamic team for the summer of 2026. As a leading on-demand manufacturing platform, Xometry connects innovators with manufacturers to bring ideas to life. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to enhancing our user experience by conducting in-depth research and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
In this role, you will conduct qualitative and quantitative user research to understand customer behaviors, needs, and pain points. You will design and execute studies, including user interviews, surveys, and usability tests, with support from the UX Research Lead. Analyzing and synthesizing research findings into actionable insights will be key to informing product and design decisions. Collaboration with product managers, designers, and engineers will ensure that user needs are central to our development process.
The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, graduating in December 2026 or May 2027, with a minimum 3.5 GPA. You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and an entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for problem-solving and driving results. Legal authorization to work in the United States is required. Additionally, you must be able to commute to our North Bethesda, MD, or Waltham, MA, office to work onsite for at least three days a week.
This is a full-time, temporary position running from June 8 to August 14, 2026, with an estimated base pay rate of $27.00 per hour.
