Trader Assistant (Working Student)

As a Trader Assistant at IMC, you will gain firsthand experience working within a leading global trading firm while pursuing your studies. You will collaborate closely with both traders and engineers, gaining insights into the trading industry and the role of a trader. Additionally, you will receive guidance from a dedicated mentor and have the chance to build valuable connections with full-time employees.

Candidates should be in their penultimate year of study in mathematics, physics, econometrics, or a related quantitative field at a university in the Netherlands, with an expected graduation in 2026 or 2027. Proficiency in Python is required, along with outstanding analytical skills and a genuine interest in financial markets, though prior experience is not necessary. Availability to work part-time (20 hours per week) in the IMC Amsterdam office for at least six months is essential.
