Territory Account Manager
Tenable, Inc. is seeking a Territory Account Manager to drive business development within assigned regions, including Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan. As a leading cybersecurity company, Tenable provides organizations with tools to understand and reduce cyber risk. The Territory Account Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding Tenable's presence and fostering client relationships in these key markets.
In this role, the Territory Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and developing the existing client base through regional marketing and direct sales activities. They will identify, qualify, and develop new opportunities through prospecting and networking, manage the sales pipeline, and target key accounts and vertical markets for development. Achieving assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales budgets, providing sales forecasts, and managing sales personnel dedicated to the region are also key responsibilities.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree and at least 4 years of experience directly related to this role. A consultative approach to presenting ideas and products, proficiency with sales tracking tools, and outstanding oral and written communication skills are essential. Attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and the capacity to travel approximately 50% of the time are also required.
The compensation for this position includes a base salary ranging from $114,500 to $152,500 USD, with additional variable compensation based on performance.
